The Buyer’s favourite home textiles
One of our experts in cushions, throws, rugs and other ways to create a cosy home is Josefine Riis Kjeldsen. Ask Josefine for decorating advice, and she will happily share plenty of ideas for creating a home filled with warmth, style and hygge. That is why we have asked her to cherry-pick her favourites within home textiles in the JYSK assortment. In this blog post, she lets us in on her thoughts and some of the features that make each product so special.
Broderie anglaise adds a romantic touch
“One of my favourites this season is our STRANDTORN table linen. I love how the delicate broderie anglaise details add a soft and romantic touch while still feeling timeless and understated. The matching cloth napkins make it easy to create a beautifully coordinated table setting, and we've even introduced SOLDUG tea towels in a matching colour and design so you can carry the look through to the kitchen”, Josefine says.
STRANDTORN tablecloth is 140x240 cm, STRANDTORN cloth napkins are 40x40 cm and SOLDUG tea towels are 50x70 cm.
Wide selection of cushion covers
“Cushion covers are one of the easiest ways to refresh a room without making a big investment. This season we've expanded the range with several new colours, patterns and sizes, which makes it easy to mix and match according to your personal style. I'm particularly fond of SANDSIV, GULDBLOMME and POPPEL — in fact, a few of them have already found their way into my own home”, Josefine says with a smile.
SANDSIV and GULDBLOMME are both available in 50x50 cm, 50x70 cm and 40x60 cm, and POPPEL is available as a 40x60 cm cushion cover.
The KORNVALMUE cushion
“My final favourite is KORNVALMUE. I like how the cylindrical shape adds something a little different to a sofa or armchair, and it pairs perfectly with the matching KORNVALMUE throw. For me, it's exactly the kind of detail that makes a home feel extra cosy during the autumn and winter months," Josefine says.
