JYSK and the Danish Royal Family
The Royal Danish Court has been a regular customer of JYSK throughout the years. A tradition that JYSK is very proud of.
JYSK has also received numerous official visits. Among others, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II visited JYSK’s regional head office in Handewitt, Germany, in 2019.
In addition, Lars Larsen, the founder of JYSK, was appointed a Knight of the Order of Dannebrog in 2009 by the Danish Royal Family for his contributions to the Danish business community. In 2017, Lars Larsen was further honoured as a Knight 1st Class of the Order of Dannebrog.
