The Christmas elves are moving in

Christmas gnomes are fantastic creatures that have a long history in Scandinavian folklore and have been an integral part of Scandinavian Christmas for a very long time. This is one of the reasons why contemporary versions of traditional Scandinavian Christmas gnomes are very popular decorations during the Christmas holidays.

The combination of cheerful, minimalistic designs and heartwarming Christmas colours means they are perfect for adorning cosy little nooks around your home, such as on end tables or coffee tables, on windowsills, by the fireplace, and even on or around the Christmas tree.

If you like pointy hats, button noses and big white beards, these HERMOD and BROKK Christmas elves might be just your thing.

HERMOD is the classic Scandinavian Christmas elf, bulbous and cuddly with a long pointy red hat. The BROKK elf is a smaller cousin of HERMOD and features a furry Christmas hat. It is available in red and grey versions, which means you can choose your favourite colour variant, or you can mix and match if you cannot settle for just one friendly fellow.

The BRONSIT Christmas elf is one of the larger ones you’ll find at JYSK. He's a friendly fellow with a pointy Christmas hat, a round nose, and a bushy white beard, and you can adjust his legs to make him tall or more compact. This means you will always be able to find a perfect fit for him, whether it is on your windowsill, end table, or on the floor.

Christmas elves are not the only important companions during Christmas. Santa also has his faithful JULKLAPP and EKLOGIT Christmas mice that help bring joy to their surroundings. The mice are wearing classic Christmas hats and will keep you, and especially also your elves, company throughout the Christmas holidays.

If you're looking to get help from Christmas elves to ring in Christmas – but in another way than adding elf plushies – look no further: VILJE cushion cover and TRILOBIT tablecloth both feature cute Christmas elves. Adding a touch of Christmas to your home textiles like this is a great way to bring about a seasonal atmosphere in your space.
