The Buyer's favourite décor
Twice a year we ask Tina Nymann, JYSK’s Category Buyer of home interior décor about her favourites among the news in the JYSK assortment: “I want to highlight our new mugs that are perfect for a cosy moment. Also, when the darker and colder months come, we need some hygge and colour in our homes, so I have handpicked two items that add just that to your home.” Tina begins.
GUSTAF floor vase
“Let’s start with GUSTAF,” Tina suggests and goes on to describe the vase in detail. “For a while now, we have seen the trend of bringing elements of nature into the interior décor and this trend is in no way over. With its handcrafted look, GUSTAF is a beautiful example of this.”
GUSTAF ceramic floor vase has a white glaze with square patterns. Style it with dried or artificial flowers or with decorative branches. GUSTAF goes extremely well with the TOMAS artificial flower stem. TOMAS is 95 cm in length and is inspired by the decorative pampas grass, found in nature close to beaches and lakes.
With its 47 cm in height, the vase is perfect for placing on the floor with artificial flowers – or as a decorative piece on its own. The height also makes it ideal to place on a chest of drawers or on a console table.

SVERRE hygge mugs
“This season we have some beautiful additions to our tableware assortment,” says Tina about her second favourite. “One of them is SVERRE. A mug made with a reactive glaze and a rounded handle and shape. Set the table with SVERRE and the OLE serving platter that matches perfectly.”
SVERRE mugs are perfect for a big cup of coffee or tea. Display them on a decorative shelf and make it easy to enjoy a cosy moment.
PER artificial flowers
“Our new artificial paper flowers PER are also worth mentioning,” says Tina about her last favourites. Light up your home with an everlasting splash of colour. PER comes in three beautiful colours: orange, rose and purple. All are beautiful on their own and in bouquets.”
While looking similar to dried flowers, PER is made from paper. The PER is 40 cm, and the stem has a metal wire that makes it easy to bend so it also fits in smaller vases.
