Back cushions and floor cushions for relaxed comfort

Back cushions are a practical addition to sofas, armchairs and beds, especially when you want a little more softness behind your back. A large back cushion can help make firm seating feel more comfortable, while also adding a decorative layer to the room. They work particularly well on deeper sofas where smaller cushions may not provide enough support.

For a relaxed living room setup, large sofa cushions can be placed along the back of the sofa to create a more lounge-like feeling. If you prefer a fuller look, combine back cushions with smaller decorative cushions in front. This creates depth while keeping the seating area comfortable and functional.

Large couch cushions are also useful in family spaces where comfort matters throughout the day. They can be moved around easily, used for extra support or placed on the floor when you need a more informal seating option.

Floor cushions are ideal for homes where you want flexible comfort without adding extra furniture. They can be used in living rooms, bedrooms, playrooms or reading corners, creating casual seating that can be moved wherever it is needed.

A soft floor cushion can make a rug area feel more inviting, especially when paired with throws and blankets. For family evenings, children’s play areas or relaxed gatherings, floor cushions offer an easy way to create extra seating without taking up permanent space.

They are also useful in smaller homes where every piece needs to work harder. When not in use, floor cushions can be stacked, placed beside a sofa or stored in a basket to keep the room tidy.

Large 60x60 cushions for your sofa styles are a good option when you want a fuller, more generous look. Their larger size makes them suitable for deep sofas, beds and window seats where smaller cushions can feel out of proportion. Big cushions for sofa styling can also create a comfortable backrest when relaxing with a book or watching TV.

For a coordinated look, choose colours and textures that complement your existing furniture. Neutral tones can create a calm Scandinavian-inspired feel, while darker or warmer shades add depth. If your cushion needs a refresh over time, pair it with new cushion covers or add suitable cushion fillers to restore shape and volume.

Back cushions work best when layered with other home textiles. On a sofa, combine large cushions for sofa comfort with smaller scatter cushions for colour and detail. On a bed, place back cushions behind decorative cushions to create a softer, more finished look.

To complete the space, style your cushions with a soft rug to define the seating area, or pair them with sofas and armchairs for a comfortable living room setup. Back cushions, floor cushions and large couch cushions all help create a home that feels relaxed, flexible and ready for everyday use.
