How and where to use sheer curtains

Our ready-made curtains fit all rooms in your home. A sheer curtain is ideal to use in the kitchen curtain or living room. Hang your curtains in layers and create a stylish home where it is easy to adjust the light. Curtains in layers allow you to preserve the light in the room and at the same time give you the privacy you need within your home. Use one of our thin curtains as the innermost layer and let the light shine into your home. In the bedroom, you can combine a sheer curtain with a blackout curtain, which is available as a roller blind.

    Curtain colours & design

You may think sheer curtains are mostly plain but in our range, you'll find an array of colours including purple and blue as well as classic colours such as grey and white. You'll also find gorgeous prints like our olive leaf sheer curtain and striped patterns.

How to clean your curtains & blinds

If there is a care label on your ready-made curtains you should of course follow it. Choose the recommended gentle cycle - typically a wool program with low spin. If you have large curtains, consider whether you would rather do two washes, instead of putting both curtains together in the same wash. If you are unsure whether the curtains can take a cycle in the washing machine, then you can of course wash your curtains by hand. Whether you wash your curtains by hand or machine, it's a good idea to hang them while they are still damp to avoid unnecessary folds while drying. Wring them well up or centrifuge them on low speed. Add newspapers or a towel under the curtains to collect excess water so you protect your floor. Find out more in our curtain and blind cleaning guide here.
