Luxurious and cosy bedspreads for your bedroom
If you want to create a cosy atmosphere in your bedroom, try decorating with textiles such as a soft bed throw or bedspread. While cushions, throwovers and blankets are optional accessories in a bedroom, they will enhance your bedroom design and help to create a sense of luxury, warmth and comfort. A bedspread can help add that finishing touch to your bedroom decor and you can be playful with the design and colour as it is not a permanent fixture in your bedroom. Not only do they look good, but they also help to keep your bedroom tidy and protect your duvets and pillows against dust.
Protect your duvet and pillows with a cosy bed throw
From a practical perspective, throws will act as protectors for your duvets, pillows and mattress from dust throughout the day and will make your bedroom look instantly neat and tidy, and not to mention more comfortable. They also offer the option of an extra layer on a cooler night - you may want to consider a couple of bed throws in different colours, materials and textures so you can ring the changes across the seasons. A gorgeously soft, deep pile throw in rich winter shades will make a welcome comforter in the colder months, while a chic grey throw in cool cotton is a great summer pick.
Bed throws add that little ‘extra’ touch to your room
A throwover is an excellent choice for an occasional bedroom, as it will add a touch of style and double as extra bedding when the need arises. They can also come in handy if throw one over your lap to add extra cosiness when you are sitting on the couch or sofa watching TV or in bed trying to go to sleep on a cold winter night. Choose from our Scandinavian-style selection of colours, sizes and materials on our website or at your nearest JYSK store.
