Sleek vertical blinds for windows & patio doors
Vertical blinds are perfect to use as both patio door blinds and window blinds. The vertical lines of the slatted curtains create calm and balance and are particularly suitable for large windows. If you need slatted blinds in the bedroom, choose a version with blackout. At Jysk, we offer daylight and blackout slatted blinds in black, white and charcoal grey. With at least 4 different sizes to choose from in each style, you're sure to find the right size blind for your home.
How to clean vertical blinds
Cleaning vertical blinds in three easy steps.
- Take a microfibre cloth starting at the top and run it vertically down each slat to remove any loose dirt or dust.
- Using a vacuum cleaner with an attachment nozzle equipped with brush bristles, run it along the slats to remove stubborn dirt starting at the top of the slats and work your way down.
- Use a mild cleaning detergent and warm water with a clean microfibre cloth to wipe down the vertical blinds. Make sure that you squeeze the cloth out so that the slats don't get too wet, rinse the cloth after wiping each slat and remember to change the water should it get dirty. It's also important to make sure the water is not too hot as to damage the blind material. A handy tip is to place a towel underneath the blind so that your carpet or flooring doesn't get wet.
