JYSK performs massive Sleep Survey

How do the Europeans sleep at night? Which Country holds the title of European Sleep Champion? Where do the kids disturb their parents’ sleep most often?

These are some of the questions that we are looking to answer in our new, comprehensive Sleep Survey.

As Europeans, we have many things in common. Judging from the products we sell across the different countries, however, our sleeping habits are not necessarily one of them: In Poland, many people live in 2 room apartments and spend their nights on sofa beds. In Central Europe in general, mattresses filled with coconut fibers are popular. In the UK, couples keep each other warm in a bed that is 135 cm wide. In Denmark, this would be considered a small single bed, with a double bed being 180 cm wide. In southern Europe, people prefer sleeping with a blanket. In Scandinavia, they need a rich duvet with down filling to stay warm at night.

We need your feedback

These differences made us wonder if there are other features that are typical to each country: What nationality jumps out of bed when the alarm rings? Who wakes up grumpy? Where do you have to live to be able to nap on regular basis?

The Sleep Survey will be promoted on Facebook and in our newsletter across the 19 European countries where JYSK Nordic is represented. We need your help to see the whole picture. Answer the Sleep Survey and contribute to the big survey of European sleep habits.

We will share our findings during August. Stay tuned!

The JYSK Nordic countries count:
Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
